One to One Leadership Coaching

Whether you're  stepping into your first leadership position or you're leading a significant change, you don't have to do it alone.

This is coaching for those moments when an internal coach is just not going to cut it. You need a specialist who understands the wider HE context, has advanced coaching skills and who isn't based within your institution.

There are two main ways to work with me one to one:

1. The Boost

We work together for 2-6 sessions and you walk away with increased clarity, self awareness and a courage based action plan.

The price starts from £360 (depending on the number of sessions) and that includes 1:1 coaching calls via Teams or Zoom, support between calls via Voxer (a free app like bit like WhatsApp) or email and bespoke resources depending on what you need.

This is great for when you need a boost of courage, clarity or confidence. You might be thinking through a dilemma, making a decision, unpicking an unhelpful habit or preparing for an having a challenging conversation. Either way, we'll use the calls to figure out what's going on, understand what has you stuck, decide on your next steps and make a plan that's based on courage rather than a, then b, then c type thinking. This is about making a plan you can feel confident in and stick to. 

2. The Grounded Leader

A space for thoughtful, exhausted leaders to steady themselves after the restructure — and start rebuilding what matters.

  • Leading people who are tired, mistrustful, or emotionally checked out
  • Trying to knit together a team that didn’t exist three months ago
  • Untangling duplicated processes, unclear roles, and competing priorities

Together, we’ll work on:

  • Processing what you’ve just been through as a leader

  • Getting clear on your values and priorities as you rebuild

  • Re-establishing team norms, agreements and workflows

  • Building (or rebuilding) a working culture people can trust again

  • Leading visibly, steadily, and creating order out of chaos

 

What you get:

2 coaching sessions per month (60 minutes each) for 6 months

Email or voice-note support between sessions

Optional tools and frameworks to help with team communication, meeting design, feedback, or systems building — tailored to your needs

A clear thinking partner who knows the Higher Education landscape and won’t flinch from the hard bits

 

Pricing:

Six-month leadership partnership: £3,600 (individual payers) £5,000+ if paid for by your institution (includes invoicing, bespoke team facilitation and CPD documentation on request)

I really do get it

I’ve led post-restructure teams inside universities and coached over 200 HE professionals. I understand the institutional context, the emotional reality, and the slow grind of making things work without losing yourself. This is where I do my best work: helping good people lead well, even in tough conditions.
