ABOUT THE GROUP:Â
Please introduce yourself in the main feed when you enter the group. This is for everyone in the Getting Ready for Your Next Grade community, not just your cohort. And when others introduce themselves please make them feel really welcome. It's nerve wracking to be a newbie so let's make everyone feel welcome.
This is a space to share learnings, discuss action steps and move forward to develop your confidence and your career!

✨An incredible community of people who are all committed to supporting, uplifting, motivating and empowering one another.
GROUP RULES
✨ This community is for Higher Education Professionals of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, gender identities and religions. If something happens in the group that you are unhappy with please let me know. We will work together to decide what to do next but know that exclusionary behaviour will not be tolerated.
✨ Share, share, share. This is a community space so it’ll only get that lovely community vibe if you’re using the channels and having conversations.
✨ No apologies. I want you to feel free to take up space in this community so please don’t apologise for taking up too much time or posting too much etc. If there is a problem we can have a conversation about boundaries but up until then, please take your space and don’t apologise.

Hi, I’m Fiona! I’m a Professional Development Coach for Professionals in Higher Education. I'm really invested in helping you to succeed (whatever that means to you) in your life and career. I wholeheartedly believe that working in HE doesn’t need to feel as difficult as it sometimes can. So I started this community as a way to support you in that. It’s about finding your way, in HE, in your career, in management and in leadership – it’s all good.
Outside of work I live in London with my husband, daughter and cat. I love to spend time in the woods, I love to move my body, I love to be in deep conversation with friends and I love pretty much any TV show made by Shona Rhimes!
