  • 60-minute 1:1 prep session via MS Teams where we work through your specific interview, the competencies being assessed, and how to structure your answers with conviction
  • My Cover Letter Mini Course - self-paced guidance on writing compelling applications
  • 30-minute post-interview debrief (within 48 hours of your interview) where we process how it went, identify what worked, and plan next steps

Package 2: Application & Interview Support

£495

Perfect for: Someone who wants comprehensive support through the entire application and interview process.

What you get:

  • My Cover Letter Mini Course - self-paced guidance on writing compelling applications
  • 2x application reviews - send me a couple of jobs your applying for along with your draft cover letter or supporting statement, I'll review them and give you detailed feedback on what to strengthen, what to cut, and what language to use
  • 2x 60-minute interview prep sessions via MS Teams - we'll work through the person specification, practise your responses, and refine your approach across both sessions (these can be before or after you get the interview invite)
  • Post-interview debrief session (30 minutes within 48 hours)

How This Works

  1. Book your package - choose the one that fits your needs and pay via card or request a quote if your institution is covering the cost
  2. Tell me about your situation - you'll receive a brief questionnaire so I understand where you are and what you're working towards
  3. Schedule your sessions - we'll find times that work for both of us (I work UK hours, sessions via MS Teams)
  4. Get to work - we'll dive into your applications, prep for interviews, and position you as the obvious candidate

I don't work with people who want me to write their applications for them or who aren't open to honest feedback. I also don't usually work with academic roles (faculty/researchers) - my expertise is Professional Services career progression.

About your coach

I’m the founder of The Hidden Curriculum of Progression and a specialist self-belief coach for Higher Education professionals.

I spent 13 years as a Professional Services manager in UK Higher Education, working across multiple institutions and functions. I know what it feels like to step into senior HE roles: the isolation, the complexity, the pressure to get it right immediately.

For the past five years, I've coached over 300 HE professionals through career transitions, promotions, and leadership challenges. I understand the hidden curriculum of HE PS progression because I've lived it, learned it, and now I help others navigate it.

I get the sector because I've been in the sector.
